Spread Out

The fish have been really spread out this week on Mustang. I think all of the pegs have produced several fish, but no one has had a really good hit. Regular Rob had four fish in just a few hours the other night from peg 12 and I know a chap in peg six had four bites all in quick succession a few days ago. So if you get on them it pays to make the most of it before they move off or stop having it.
The same old boilies are doing the trick, but lots of large 8mm + pellets mixed in with them are key to getting the fish going. The carp have also been slurping down floaters in the last week, especially in the morning and evening. The best carp caught off the top was a 22lb 8oz common. The best fish of last week went to Ian Bardell who banked a 23lb 14oz mirror from peg 3 - well done mate, top angling.
