Hot and Cold

Fishing on Mustang has been up and down this week. We seem to have one very good day followed by a slow day. The wind has been swinging all over the place and the carp have not really known where to head.

I must remind everyone that we are hosting BCAC UK carp cup qualifier on Mustang lake between Friday 15th - 17th July. Therefore the lake will be closed from 12pm on the Friday 15th and open again for normal business Sunday evening. Visitors are very welcome to come briefly and watch the match during the weekend, but please don't disturb the anglers too much who are competing.

The best hit taken in a six hour day session was made by Mark Sawyer, who lost two and banked six into upper teens. Consistent rod Darren Rouse had nine takes in 48 hours and banked six. Jason Allen and Kieran Ringwood banked six between them. Several other nice catches have been made and several different tactics have been working including zigs and solid bags.
Pegs 1,3,4,6,7,8,13 have been most productive this week.
I hope you like the pic's.
